The Fellow in my Business Economics class

I have not seen a professor who goes to class without notes, laptop, book, or even a bag. I have had other intellectually superior professors in the past--even back in college--but they always bring with them some teaching materials . Not until the night I came into Dr. Dante Sy's Economics class at LS 313. So far, the only thing I saw him carrying was a printed list of our names.

I was sitting at row five with the two Rons, Raymond, and Arnold. I hardly know my other classmates except Belle who is currently my CSR classmate, Stephanie and Roan who are my former ManStat classmates. We never had the chance to introduce ourselves. Not yet. That's the way it is in the most talk-of-the-school Econ class. Well, for one, most MBA students I know advised us to take Dr. Sy's class. So my "cool dudes" and I were eager to do the on-line enrollment at 8 a.m. to get a slot in his class.

Confession: I was never pressured to come early in class after the first meeting.

Well that statement speaks something more. If you know what mean.

Dr. Sy said that he has been teaching at La Salle for twenty years. That's probably the reason why he's very familiar with his subject--not to mention his being deputy director at the National Tax Research.

By the way, I am class officer. I just forgot if they volunteered me for secretary--a job that I least like.
